Shelley, a young Black woman navigating a challenging divorce, crosses paths with Franklin, a charismatic smooth talker whose charm hides a darker side. Through her journey, Shelley learns to reclaim her voice and rediscover her worth, surrounded by a cast of witty and supportive friends.

Adapted into an AGAPE award-winning Inspirational Gospel Stage Play in 2008, Smooth Talker continues to resonate with audiences. The book’s humor, authenticity, and powerful themes of resilience and redemption make it a timeless read that inspires and empowers.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Michele’ is a proud mother of five and grandmother to nine. She has recently inducted into the National Black Radio Hall of Fame 2024 with a 46 year entertainment career.
